GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 
  1. In these terms and conditions, the expression “Patron” means any person, company or body making the application and includes all employees or agents of such. The “Organiser” means the Dubai Racing Club.
  2. Payment in full must accompany the booking application not less than one calendar month before the flat racing event (the “Event”). Tickets/Badges and Event documentation will not be issued until the full payment due has been received.
  3. Payments must be paid in UAE Dirhams by UAE Company Cheque or Banker’s Draft made payable to “Dubai Racing Club” or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only).
  4. A receipted tax invoice will be issued on receipt of payment unless an electronic receipt is generated at the time of booking.
  5. All compensation and payments made by the customer will be considered to be inclusive of any value added tax, sales tax or similar tax levied on such compensation or payments as per UAE tax laws unless specifically defined in these terms and conditions or the applicable tax invoice.
  6. The Patron is responsible for its conduct and the conduct of its guests. The Patron acknowledges and agrees that the Organiser may immediately remove the Patron or any guest whose conduct is considered likely to cause undue offence, inconvenience or injury to other persons from the hospitality area, suite or racecourse. Further to the above, the Patron acknowledges and agrees that the Organiser may require the Patron or any guest whose conduct is considered likely to cause any damage to the building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant area of the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area or the racecourse.
  7. There will be no re-issue of tickets/badges lost or stolen after collection or delivery.
  8. The Organiser will not admit the bearer of tickets/badges purchased from an unauthorized source and reserves the right to refuse admission to the racecourse and hospitality areas.
  9. No food or drink may be brought into the hospitality enclosures.
  10. The Organiser shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any buildings, structures, fixtures, and fittings therein or any other property situated, howsoever caused, arising out of or connected with the activities of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests or contractors and the Patron shall indemnify and hold Organiser harmless against any such loss or damage.
  11. The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss to any property of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests, and contractors howsoever such loss or damage is caused and whether or not due to the negligence of any servant, agent, staff, guest or contractor of the Organiser.
  12. The Patron is wholly responsible for the conduct of its guests, employees, agents, staff, and its contractors and accepts that the Organiser may require any of the aforementioned whose conduct is likely or is considered likely to cause damage to any building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant areas or the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area and the racecourse.
  13. The Patron shall be liable to the Organiser for any charges in respect of breakages, damage and cleaning costs which are considered by the Organiser to be excessive.
  14. The Patron acknowledges hiring of any hospitality facility is for entertaining purposes only. Company branding and marketing is not permitted except where stipulated and included in the package. Signage will be limited to the standard signage provided by the Organiser. This is the only additional external signage and branding permitted by the Organiser. Banners, flags and decorated entrance arches will not be permitted and any branded items on display that have not been approved in advance by the Organiser will be removed.
  15. No product sampling or any other publicity or promotional activity is permitted unless written permission is obtained in advance from the Organiser.
  16. The Organiser will appoint a caterer for all private entertaining facilities and public hospitality areas and the Patron agrees to the menus provided by the caterer direct to the Patron.
  17. Nothing herein gives the patron any right, title or interest in any mark logo or other intellectual property of the Organiser and gives no right to the patron to use the same at any time.
  18. The Patron acknowledges that by making an application for tickets it is bound by each and every provision of these terms and conditions.
  19. The Organiser reserves the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these Conditions and the decision of the Organiser shall be in that respect final.
  20. The booking form must be signed by the Patron or in the case of payment by credit card, the cardholder.
  21. All Patrons are permitted to use their facility only on race day/s for which they have paid.
  22. Meydan Group LLC and Dubai Racing Club reserves the right to conduct photography and videography through the course of the race meetings held during Race Season. Video footage and images captured will be used for advertising campaigns, websites, social media and promotional materials for future events in the UAE and Internationally. By attending this race meeting you are deemed to have provided your consent to the use of your image in said advertising campaigns, websites, social media and promotional materials.
  23. Patrons and their guests shall at all times comply with and observe the Dubai Code of Conduct. The Dubai Code of Conduct can be found at the following web address: http://www.zu.ac.ae/employment/html/documents/CultureandConductinDubai_000.pdf

Failure to comply with or observe the terms of the Dubai Code of Conduct may result in the offending persons being removed from the Suite, Hospitality Area or the Racecourse.
TICKET & ADMISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
By obtaining for consideration (or otherwise accepting) the Event ticket, you hereby agree to the following: 
 
  1. The ticket and the associated admission to the Event granted to you (the Attendee) hereunder is subject to the rules and regulations of the Dubai Racing Club (as amended from time to time), these terms and conditions and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.
  2. Prior to entering or departing the Event, the Attendee (and any of the Attendee’s possessions) may be searched by Dubai Racing Club staff.
  3. The ticket and all associated admission rights and privileges may be withdrawn, and the Attendee vacated from the Event should the Attendee violate the rules and regulations of the Dubai Racing Club, these terms and conditions, any applicable laws or generally accepted standards of behavior, decency or horse racing etiquette.
  4. Attendees may not bring any items which the Dubai Racing Club deems at its sole discretion as dangerous, offensive, illegal, or potentially annoying to other attendees. Attendees may not bring any alcohol or drugs (which are not properly prescribed to the Attendee) into the event. Intoxicated or underage Attendees may be denied entry to the event at the sole discretion of the Dubai Racing Club.
  5. Attendees shall have no claim against the Dubai Racing Club for any injury, loss or damage suffered at the Event, regardless of the cause. The Attendee acknowledges and agrees that attending the Event exposes the Attendee to certain dangers (both to their person and / or property) and that the Dubai Racing Club has no responsibility where such dangers are realized by the Attendee save for where the Dubai Racing Club is in violation of its obligations under the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai.  
  6. The Attendee agrees not to resell the ticket through any reseller not officially licensed by the Dubai Racing Club.
  7. Dubai Racing Club shall not be responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or destroyed tickets.
  8. Dubai Racing club shall have the right to reject tickets obtained from sources other than the Dubai Racing Club or an approved reseller.
  9. By attending the Event the Attendee agrees that the Dubai Racing Club may use any audio and / or visual recordings or photographs of the Attendee for any purpose including but not limited to promotions or advertisements for other events.
 
TICKETING FOR PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION
  • People of Determination can obtain general admission (The Premium & Apron Views) tickets to the flat racing events (the Events) on a free-of-charge basis upon their in-person application to the DRC Ticketing Office.
  • People of Determination can nominate one person as their companion to assist them at the Event and such person can purchase a ticket at a reduced price in the ticketing office
  • All Persons of Determination shall provide proof of their status to the DRC Ticketing Office upon application for the free-of-charge ticket.   
  • All tickets to the Events shall be issued at the sole discretion of the DRC.
 
RACE MEETING CANCELLATION POLICY (EXCLUDING DUBAI WORLD CUP)
  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, even if the ticket holder is unable to attend due to force majeure events or circumstances beyond their control.
  • Only in the event that races are canceled or postponed, refund procedures will be announced as soon as possible. If the race is rescheduled, there may be refund limitations.
  • It is the participant's responsibility to ascertain if an event is confirmed, or if it has been canceled or rescheduled.  If an event is canceled or rescheduled, we will make every effort to notify ticket holders of the cancellation. We do not guarantee that ticket holder will be notified of such cancellation prior to the date of the event.
 
RACE MEETING CHILDREN POLICY
  • Children of all ages require a ticket to enter the venue in the presence of an accompanying adult.
  • Kids up to 12 years enter for free in General Public
  • Kids up to 5 years enter for free in Paddock View Restaurant, Winner’s Circle Restaurant, and Private suites. Please contact our Tickets Sales Office for further information.
  • Youth between the age of 6 to 12 receive special rates in Paddock View Restaurant, Winner’s Circle Restaurant, and Private suites. Please contact our Tickets Sales Office for further information.
  • Proof of age for kids and youth ticket holders might be required at any time from security or ticketing staff before the entrance of the gates or during the Dubai World Cup event.
DUBAI WORLD CUP CANCELLATION POLICY
  • No refund on any purchased 2023 Dubai World Cup tickets or packages.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to postpone the 2023 Dubai World Cup and in the event of postponement, the booking will be transferred to the new date.
DUBAI WORLD CUP CHILDREN POLICY
  • Children 2 years old and below can enter the venue free of charge (no ticket required) in the presence of an accompanying adult.
  • Kids between 2 and 12 years of age receive a 50% discount on the regular rate in Sky Bubble, The Premium, The Gallery, and The Terrace only. Please contact our Tickets Sales Office for further information.
  • Proof of age for kids and youth ticket holders might be required at any time from security or ticketing staff before the entrance of the gates or during the Dubai World Cup event.
